The FRACTURED PRUNE® has been an Ocean City, MD landmark for 30 years. It has been a tradition for many donut lovers far and wide. These donut lovers line up in the early morning, around the block in the anticipation of creating and tasting their own creation.
The FRACTURED PRUNE DONUT SHOPPE® is a Specialty shop for donuts. What makes these just so special is the way they are created by you. "You create em, we make em!" Our donuts come out hot and crispy on the outside and light and moist on the inside. We then take the donuts and dip them in any one of our homemade glazes of your choice, which you can top with an assortment of delectable toppings.
These donuts are loved by kids of all ages. There is nothing sweeter than being able to create and have a HOT DONUT at anytime of the day.
Many inquiries have been made to expand our locations, so that the donuts could be more than a tradition for people. They could be an everyday indulgence.

Qualifications:
To be considered "Prune Worthy" a franchisee needs: A passion for our product, a belief that a "Fractured Prune®" donut experience is absolutely the best, an entrepreneurial spirit, good customer service skills, positive attitude and must be a hard worker. Plus, the financial ability to secure the capital needed.
The Fractured Prune® franchise fee is $27,500.
The monthly royalty fee is 5% + a 1% monthly advertising fee.
Area development deposit fee for Fractured Prune® area development rights is 50% of the current 2+ franchise fee of $22,500 equal to $11,250 for each Fractured Prune business to be developed after the 1st business (minimum 3).
The initial investment, including the franchise fee, ranges from $143,950 to $270,450.
Fractured Prune® franchisees are required to have a net worth of $500,000.00 and cash and/or liquid assets of $100,000.00.
Financing / leasing is available based on lender's qualifications.
